Scripture Art and New Contest!!

Hello blogger-friends!
This past weekend I had a booth at a craft fair and sold a bunch of these Scripture Art frames, which held a number of different verses from several of my inspired stamp collections.
So I figured today would be a great day to share them with you, too!

Another way to use your Scripture stamps!!

I enjoyed reading all your comments so much on the last contest, that I wanted to share with you a special contest that begins now and will go until December 15th.
READY?
Here's what it entails!!
1.  Share with me your FAVORITE BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE verse
and
2.  Tell me WHY it's your favorite
(I have about 40 favorites, so just pick ONE...I know it's difficult, but one entry per person please!)
Here's the special part of this challenge:
I will be designing a stampset using several of the recommended verses that you all supply!
So, I'll choose a few (depends on how long your favorites are as to how many winners I choose!)
and not only will I design a stampset called "Inspired Stampers' Favorite Verses #1"
BUT....I'll send the winners this stamp set absolutely FREE right around Christmas time!

Please spread the word, and tell your friends to come add their favorites, too!!

Until tomorrow,
inspired stamping,
~Antoinette :o)

  3. Love your scripture frames. I've been trying to find more scripture for the walls in my home to constantly keep God's Word before me. My favorite verses are 2 Peter 3-4. But could be shortened to just
"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence ..."
You could even shorten it. Both verses are so beautiful.
Thanks for starting this busines and using God's Word.

  4. My favorite verse is Matthew 6:33 "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you."

I love this verse because it reminds to keep my focus on God. When I do that everything will work out because God is in control.

It's hard to pick just one favorite verse, but I guess one of my top choices would be Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

This verse always lifts me up when I need encouragement. I love the image of my Lord supporting the wings He gave me to fly.

  6. If I have to pick one:

    God is love.

I love the frame ideas. Thanks!

  7. My favorite verse is Jeremiah 1:19
"They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD."
I like this verse because it gave me hope in high school, knowing that no matter what people had to say about me or my faith, God will bring me out and away from it. I knew it was all in His hands and that He was there with me when I felt alone.

  8. One of my favourite verses, Psalm 62:5 "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him."

I love your framed verses...what a great idea!

  9. Oops, forgot to add why it's one of my favourites...because true rest only comes when I give things over to the Lord, and in return He fills me with hope.

  10. I have a couple. the first is 2 Corinthians 5:8
"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." I love this verse for Sympathy cards.
The next one is Isaiah 43:5 "Fear not for I am with thee" This verse is very comforting to me.

Love the frame verses. What a great gift.

  11. Hi there!

My favorite verse as a child was:

John11:35 - Jesus wept. As a kid it was one that was easy to memorize :)

But as an adult I realize it shows the human side of Jesus - so often I just focus on the Holy side of Jesus and I forget the human side of Him -

One of my favorites as an adult is: 1 Corinthians 13 4-7:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

To me, that explains Agape love.

But if you know the verses up there, you can sum them up in versed 13:

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

  12. My favorite verse is Matthew 6:25-34 but I think the best out of that for a stamp set would be Matthew 6:26.
Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?
This reminds me everyday that I am important to God and he does care about me.

  13. I like your framed verses. It's such a good way to keep to have the word in front of us all the time, they are very pretty. I have really enjoyed coming to your sight. I have been so blessed lately to see Chrsitians be passionate about their love and beliefs.

Like most of us I have numerous favorite verses and many times it depends on what I am going through at the time. My son left his wife, leaving 5 precious children to see their dad only on weekends. It has broken my heart over and over again and I pray his heart will be changed. A scripture that has been special to me during this time is "Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning. For in You do I trust." Psalms 143:8. I look forward to the "morning" and to what it will mean to my son, his wife and children.

  14. I love your stamps and those frames are beautiful
    My favorite verse is:
    Psalm63
I am the Lord your God, who grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you-Fear not, I will help you

Why? because this verse reminds I can rely on God at time, under any circumstance, He is always there to help

  15. Right now my favourite is "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has encough trouble of its own." Matt. 6:34. I have it on a nicely decorated paper on the wall in my kitchen. I love it because life is so busy and I can get caught up in all the planning and preparation for things I'm involved in. I need to remember that God is in control and although planning is important, how I spend today is more important.

  16. Those of you who cannot get your posts on here, email me and I'll be happy to enter you! Here's Sandy's (and thank you Sandy! You are so sweet!)

I thank God for Antoinette sharing his words with us and the world!
My favorite scripture is Proverbs 13:3 "He that keepeth his mouth, keepeth his life; But he that openeth wide his lips shall have distruction."
It helps me to remember that others are listening to me and I should watch what and how I say things, that I may continue to be an example of love. Sandy (Michigan)

  17. My favorite scripture is "Therefore strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet so that the lame may not be disabled but rather healed." Hebrews 12:12-13. It got me through a very tough time while in in-patient physical therapy. I am wheelchair bound due to spinal cord damage and MS and this scripture brings me hope.

  18. I love your scripture frames and look forward to trying them in the future.

I had never thought about having a favorite scripture before, but I know what one of my favorite experiences is. My son was 16 and hadn't been driving very long. He was late coming home from work. It was raining. So you can imagine where this mother's mind was going. When I looked toward the sky and saw God's promise in the sky. He sent me a rainbow and said it was ok. Therefor, I am saying my favorite scripture is Genesis 9:16 - When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.”

    God bless your new business.

  19. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
    Psalms 28:7

  20. All of these are wonderful verses. One favorite of my childhood (from a pastor who would quote it at the end of every service) is:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

Thank you for having this contest. Just reading everyone's favorite verses has been very uplifting :)

  21. My Favorite right now is Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

My Husband has been out of work with no Unemployment compensation cause he was a 1099 subcontractor for the last 2 years. Things have been really rough lately with us not even having enough to pay our bills let alone buy our 4 children Christmas gifts. This verse keeps reminding me that even though we are losing everything around us, God has a Plan and we need to trust him and know that he will not bring us to harm.
