Christmas Art Card...

Hello blogger-friends!
I absolutely love the scenery at Christmas time!
I used 4 different stamp sets from the inspired stamps store
on this card:
Fir Trees
Trees and Leaves
 Me and My House
and Grasses

The 'ice' was formed with Ranger Ink's Cracked Glass.  Cool effect but takes QUITE some time to dry!

Don't forget to post your favorite Scripture under my new contest post if you haven't already!
until tomorrow,

Scripture Art and New Contest!!

Hello blogger-friends!
This past weekend I had a booth at a craft fair and sold a bunch of these Scripture Art frames, which held a number of different verses from several of my inspired stamp collections.
So I figured today would be a great day to share them with you, too!

Another way to use your Scripture stamps!!

I enjoyed reading all your comments so much on the last contest, that I wanted to share with you a special contest that begins now and will go until December 15th.
READY?
Here's what it entails!!
1.  Share with me your FAVORITE BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE verse
and
2.  Tell me WHY it's your favorite
(I have about 40 favorites, so just pick ONE...I know it's difficult, but one entry per person please!)
Here's the special part of this challenge:
I will be designing a stampset using several of the recommended verses that you all supply!
So, I'll choose a few (depends on how long your favorites are as to how many winners I choose!)
and not only will I design a stampset called "Inspired Stampers' Favorite Verses #1"
BUT....I'll send the winners this stamp set absolutely FREE right around Christmas time!

Please spread the word, and tell your friends to come add their favorites, too!!

Until tomorrow,

Snowball Cuties and 2 THANKFUL stamps...

Hello blogger-friends!
Today is Thanksgiving in the US!!  I am so thankful for YOU!!  I hope your day is great, whether you are here or outside the US!!
Here's a couple of the $3.99 stamp sets that are ideal for thanksgiving, all year long from the webstore:
Both fit a 2x2 acrylic block

I am getting ready for some 3am shopping tomorrow AND then after some rest, the craft show I'm working on Saturday at Southport High School in Indianapolis!!
Here are some Snowball Cuties (ornaments) I make every year that have NOTHING to do with stamping, but I just love drawing all their little faces.  I have 4 trays of these I'm bringing with me on Saturday...so look for them if you are trying to find me if you are stopping by!!
Have a wonderful night and I'll be back tomorrow!!

Tons of Kraft-y Tags and 12 new stampsets in our web store!

Hello blogger-friends!
Who doesn't love Kraft paper????
It's one of my favorite card bases and today, it became a favorite tag...well.. tags!

I used many of my new stampsets above (12 new stampsets are now in the store--check them out HERE)
Bind and Stitch I used the verses AND two of the stitching stamps (love these!!)
You can also see I used the cross and phrase 'Praying for you' from the new Prayer stampset
along with the 1 Corinthians 13:13 verse on faith, hope and love.

Here I used my new 4x6 background stamp, the Names of Jesus and inked with black ink and this distressing ink to get some names brown and some black. Then I stamped the entire tag with one stamp, before sponging distressing ink along the outside like this:

I added raffia to the holes to finish off the tags and now they are ready for the show I'm working on Saturday:
(Here's a first look at Baptism, a much needed stamp set for Baptism Celebrations!)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and visit!
I have a special treat in store for you tomorrow!

If you haven't yet signed up to win one of 3 sets of stampsets I'm giving away, you have until 11:59pm this Friday to enter....see the Birthday Giveaway I posted on Friday the 19th of November to enter!!

I'll have a brown Christmas....

Hello blogger-friends!
We are still warm here in the midwest, so today I got ALL my Christmas lights up on the house and all the decorations IN the house!  I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, and I have never done it early before, but I gotta tell you, I LOVE having it done!!

Since it's still Thanksgiving week here in the US, I thought I'd do a brown Christmas card to share with you today.  Kinda a mix, like my house lol.

I introduced you to Mark's Present before in the brown with copic markers, and here he is all put together with some bling and one of the 1"circle sentiment stamps with a clear round epoxy sticker on it.   The paper is from My Mind's Eye and the ribbon was on sale at Michaels.

12 new stampsets will hit the online store Wednesday (so excited to get them posted!), so be sure to be on the lookout for those.  Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to stop by!

See you tomorrow!

Sunday Technique: Chipboard ornaments

Hello, Blogging Friends!
Wow what an amazing first weekend!!  We had well above the amount of purchases of our stamps than we had even hoped for and I have to just THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart for your support!  I will be uploading 12 new stamp sets to the online store within the next couple of days, so be sure to check the store again soon!

Today I wanted to share with you a really fun and easy technique for making chipboard ornaments sparkle in a hurry!  First, let me share some I made for this weekend's craft fair:
White chipboard ornaments with some scrap gold ribbon I found at Michael's.  I used prisma glitter and my 1"circle sentiment stampset, which has over 50 images, perfect for ALL occasions!
Here's how to make these:
1.  You'll need to put your white chipboard pieces FACE DOWN on your sticker maker machine like this:
See the chipboard that isn't white above?  That's the back. Some unfinished chipboard will hold the 'sticky' but much of it won't.  That's why I usually use white chipboard.  Run it through the sticker maker.

2. Next, you'll want to stamp your images (directly on the sticky area--trust me, it works :o) OR you can stamp your image onto paper and attach it to the ornament with a pop dot.

3.  Now sprinkle glitter onto your ornament and add the bow, magnet or string to hang it!
Here are more samples finished.  I made magnets out of the snowflakes and hanging ornaments out of the stocking and trees (which were done with my 2x2 Scripture stamps--I didn't get photos of the trees before I sold them all, but will make more and post another day):

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to pop over here and visit with me!!
Until tomorrow,
inspired stamping,
~Antoinette

My first post on the inspired stamps blog...

It is with great excitement and thanksgiving that I write this very first post on this brand new blog!  I started this new clear stamp company with the character, Mark praying, and verse, Pray Without Ceasing.  I fell in love!  For the last several months I have been illustrating and organizing print in all of the stamps you will see on our store, beginning this FRIDAY, November 19th, 2010.

I owe my life to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and just thank the LORD for the blessing and honor of the opportunity to bring my two loves together to share with you in this new venture!
