Sunday Technique: Chipboard ornaments

Hello, Blogging Friends!
Wow what an amazing first weekend!!  We had well above the amount of purchases of our stamps than we had even hoped for and I have to just THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart for your support!  I will be uploading 12 new stamp sets to the online store within the next couple of days, so be sure to check the store again soon!

Today I wanted to share with you a really fun and easy technique for making chipboard ornaments sparkle in a hurry!  First, let me share some I made for this weekend's craft fair:
White chipboard ornaments with some scrap gold ribbon I found at Michael's.  I used prisma glitter and my 1"circle sentiment stampset, which has over 50 images, perfect for ALL occasions!
Here's how to make these:
1.  You'll need to put your white chipboard pieces FACE DOWN on your sticker maker machine like this:
See the chipboard that isn't white above?  That's the back. Some unfinished chipboard will hold the 'sticky' but much of it won't.  That's why I usually use white chipboard.  Run it through the sticker maker.

2. Next, you'll want to stamp your images (directly on the sticky area--trust me, it works :o) OR you can stamp your image onto paper and attach it to the ornament with a pop dot.

3.  Now sprinkle glitter onto your ornament and add the bow, magnet or string to hang it!
Here are more samples finished.  I made magnets out of the snowflakes and hanging ornaments out of the stocking and trees (which were done with my 2x2 Scripture stamps--I didn't get photos of the trees before I sold them all, but will make more and post another day):

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to pop over here and visit with me!!
Until tomorrow,
inspired stamping,
~Antoinette
