I hope you are taking some time this week to reflect on what our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has done for you on the cross, paying your sin debt and making a way for you to be adopted as a child of God! What a blessing...what amazing grace!
We will have our next new stamp release next week, as we are celebrating Easter Weekend with our families! All orders placed in the meantime will be mailed out first thing Monday morning!

And I really want to have this week be about people I am remembering and thinking about each day and thanking God for. So, I decided to cut up some of the corrugated card bases I have so that I can put their photos on top and write why I'm so thankful for them underneath. I love the interactiveness of these pages. Here's what I have as my base (paper is Simple Stories Fall collection):

We had an unexpected number of our Tuesday DT unable to post artwork this week, that I have brought Patty's card over to this post so you would all be able to see it! Hope everyone is feeling better soon...I'm convinced to go get my flu shot today, too!!

We decided to make a few different styles of this and will be sharing Anne-Marie's tutorial NEXT WEDNESDAY, as we needed a little more time to get these completed and photographed!! How many times do we look for great shaped card ideas, a little something special to share with our recipients, and can't find the inspiration we need? Well, today the Tuesday Design Team is here to fill that need! I absolutely LOVE all the shaped cards that they came up with! Each so original and so beautiful!

Hello friends! Thanks so much for stopping by to spend a little of your time with me today! I have a simple idea that I'm sure you will love if you haven't discovered this on your own yet: cork embellishments!
First, Here is a finished card I made for my sister-in-law for her birthday next week:
See the cork backed Happy Birthday? That's what I'm going to show you how to make! You will need just a few simple supplies (you can get cork that isn't sticky backed...but why? LOL):
You just need a stamp (I used the Perfect Sentiments from the online inspired stamps store Here), I used Momento black ink and the self-adhesive Cork Roll you see above (look where they sell shelf liners!)
Next I inked it, stamped it, and cut it out (scissors cut like butter!):
I inked around the edges with Distress ink and the foam tool and put it on my card. Here are photos of the other materials I used on my card:
