Starting with the GOSPEL: February New RELEASES!

Hello Friends!
Today is our February NEW RELEASE DAY and there are 6 BRAND NEW 2x2 sized, $3.99 stamps in the online store now!!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the center of my heart!  All the other religions of the world bring you to a big list of dos and don'ts, trying harder or striving more, to stuff.  The gospel of Jesus says simply that God loved us so much HE came down from heaven and lived a sinless life.  He DIED on a cross to make the payment for our sins (cause we can't be right with a holy God if we sin just once....THAT'S how holy our God is.  And we deserve death as the penalty for that sin that we ALL do.  Even our nature is to sin and go against God!) HE was buried (proof of his actual death), and HE was raised on the 3rd day, giving us hope for our own resurrection!  All of this was according to the Scriptures, God's holy Word.

 So instead of more religious stuff to do, or more trying, or more anything, the One True God gives us Himself.  Jesus.  He is the gospel.  He is the good news.  Our love is not a religion, but a relationship.  We turn from our sins and turn to Jesus, submitting to Him as our Lord (God and Master) and our Savior (He
saved me from the penalty of my sin (and its power, and one day its presence!).   Then the Holy Spirit comes in to guide us into all Truth and to make us more like Jesus: changing our very selves, our hearts, our wills, our desires, to line up with His! We obey His Word out of love for Him, by His Spirit's enabling power! What a MERCIFUL God we serve!

It's why this company came into being.  That through the Scriptures, card-makers and the recipients, scrapbookers and their scrapbook readers, mixed media artists and their viewers, would all see the Scriptures.  And those Scriptures would bring joy, and comfort, conviction and change.  It is God Who moves us through His Scripture.  And there is no place I'd rather be than here, doing what I do!

So here are the newest releases in our $3.99 single Scripture clear stamp line.  Even if you never buy a stamp, I am so glad you are here on the blog, soaking up His Word through the artwork provided as a backdrop to His very active and powerful Word!  May God bless you with knowledge of  Jesus and may your life be changed because of Him!

Hello friends!  Today is Valentine's Day, a day where LOVE is celebrated across the globe!  Some celebrate love of a spouse; some celebrate love of children; others celebrate love of friendships.  Hopefully we all will celebrate the One True Love of any child of God, Jesus!  How blessed we are to have His love!

I really enjoyed just putting ONE or TWO words as the journaling!  I captured all I was grateful for this week in a very short and concise way!  Fun, too!  I used Inspired Stamps ELEGANT DOTTY ALPHABET, COLORABLE UPPERCASE ALPHABET , ART JOURNAL WORDS AND FACES, AND BIRTHDAYS FOR THIS PAGE along with gel pens!

This week (Valentine's Week) I am going to focus on being grateful for LOVE...all kinds of love; foods I love or something I love or a way that God shows His love for me...we'll see how the week goes, but that's what I'm thinking now.  Do we even begin to fathom all the ways He loves us and cares for us in a single day?  I know we don't!  It'll be fun searching for these things this week!

Here are my pages.  I wanted to show you how to make the background paper just with this stamp!  I was inspired by Gaby's cards here:

Here is what I did:

 I stamped and cut out the paper and put it my 6x8 black background page.  Then I took a white piece of paper and stamped the verse again(see below) before using the heart from GUARD YOUR HEART set to stamp over it:

 I cut out the stamped heart over the verse and put glitter tape and a few jewels on the page:

And created these 2 pages to work with this week:

52 Weeks of Gratitude: Week 5 + Lots of Winners announced!

Hello friends!
SOOO much to share today!  How about we start off with some WINNER announcements?  First of all, we had asked for YOU to recommend some verses for our next set of Inspired Stampers's Favorite Verses.  THANK you to all who submitted, we looked through what we already have coming in the next few months and what we already have in the store when making this decision.  But we found 2 verses that we think EVERONE will want to use in their card-making and crafting!  Here are the winners and their contributing verses:
Mandee---John 3:16 (we have this in a tree shape, but now will have it to use in everyday art!)
Carol Lucas---The Lord's Prayer (oh, what a blessing for us all to have framed on our desks!)

I kept my journal squares blank for this week instead of using lines because I want to see about making this week's challenge...more challenging :o)  I will do some type of word art on these squares with a WORD that shows what I'm thankful for each day.  I can keep it simple if I'm having a busy day, or get creative if I have more time!  Remember:  The goal is just to get down what you are thankful for!  Even if it's a sticky note you write it down on and stick it into a day's square (hmmmmmmm, that's a good idea!)
