Inspired Stamps is teaming up with Vera Yates (Ling) and Jennifer McGuire, along with a number of other stamp and paper crafting companies to donate cards to

This is such a fabulous way to make someone's Christmas BRIGHTER!  All you have to do is make a Christmas Card (or cards) and mail it to either Jennifer or Vera and they will be getting all the cards donated to nursing homes so the elderly that are there on Christmas will receive a beautiful, hand-made card with a hand-written message!  Isn't that just a wonderful thought...YOUR card will be truly loved and treasured, making someone smile and feel loved!  I love this idea so much that for every card I make for Cards that Care, I'm making an extra to bring to my local nursing home on Christmas Day.

If you are interested in participating, I have devoted our November Christmas Card Contest tab at the top of this blog to this.  You can find all the instructions there!  A big hug and thank you to Vera and Jennifer for all they are doing to make someone's Christmas this year!

SNEAK PEEK # 2:  Winter Ruth
This is a set inspired by Belinda, the winner of our contest asking YOU what you'd like to see in a Christmas Stampset!  She wanted a character that could hold different items.  SO I designed Ruth in her winter scene(the tree and snowy area are part of her stamp) with her hands in her pockets.  What you can't see in my card (but you'll get to see in some artwork by the DT tomorrow) is that there are 6 different items that can be stamped in between her 'hands in her pocket' that make her look like she's holding something (a present, a heart, a cross, a cupcake, an ornament, and an open book).  There are 6 sentiments that come with this set too:  Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, Warm Winter Wishes, Joy to the world, Thinking of YOu, With Lots of Love.

She will be in the Inspired Stamps online store FRIDAY at noon!  Here's a 6x6 card I made with her not holding anything:
I also made a decorated inside using a stamp from the new set VINTAGE CHRISTMAS:

I'll hand write a message in that space above the snow :o)

Ok...Looking forward to reading your comments!!
Until tomorrow (Design Team Thursday: Sneak Peek number 3!)
Be the Blessing,
~Antoinette

  3. Such great news today. First, I love the Ruth stampset. What a versatile set with ways to use the same person in many different ways. Second - the cards for the elderly are great. I am definitely on the way to the card making table to be able to help with that cause. Thank you so much for publishing this great cause.
