Cork Embellishment Simple How-To...

Hello friends!  Thanks so much for stopping by to spend a little of your time with me today!  I have a simple idea that I'm sure you will love if you haven't discovered this on your own yet:  cork embellishments!

First, Here is a finished card I made for my sister-in-law for her birthday next week:
See the cork backed Happy Birthday?  That's what I'm going to show you how to make!  You will need just a few simple supplies (you can get cork that isn't sticky backed...but why? LOL):
You just need a stamp (I used the Perfect Sentiments from the online inspired stamps store Here), I used Momento black ink and the self-adhesive Cork Roll you see above (look where they sell shelf liners!)

Next I inked it, stamped it, and cut it out (scissors cut like butter!):
I inked around the edges with Distress ink and the foam tool and put it on my card.  Here are photos of the other materials I used on my card:
The stampsets are Friendship's Flowers ($13.99), Philippians 1:3 ($3.99), and the Perfect Sentiments ($13.99) all found at the inspired stamps online store HERE.

One last shot (I love taking photos from odd angles of my artwork!):
Sneak Peek Week is only a week away until the new inspired stamps releases are shared!!!  I'm super excited and am busy working on them now!!  I have a great give-a-way you won't want to miss!

Have a great weekend and I'll be back soon with some more artwork!
Be the blessing!
