Design Team CALL at Inspired Stamps!

Hello friends!
We are looking to expand our Inspired Stamps Design Team and hope to hear from YOU!  If you love creating beautiful cards, can take clear and bright photos of your artwork,  have an active blog, and can commit to posting on Thursday mornings each week....WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU BY FEBRUARY 1st! 

The DT term runs from MARCH 1, 2014-DEC 31, 2014.  Send us 3-4 photos, with one card in each photo.  Your photo is as important as the card you show, so please make sure you take a clear, bright photo.  You do not need to use our stamps in these photos.  In particular we are looking for 1. great coloring of character stamps and  2.someone who creates cards where beautiful layering and design is utilized well.  If you don't like to color, please send us photos of cards WITHOUT coloring (so focus on the layering and design of your card).  If you do like to color, please be sure to send us cards which showcase coloring of characters, and the layering and design in the card as well.   

If we select you for our DT, we will send you a package of our stamps so you can use them for DT assignments (and your personal use!).  We also send goodie packages out a couple times a year with lots of fun things included, as well as stamps!

Valentine/LOVE card with HLO peeking through window + decorative inside!

Today I have a card that I had a lot of fun making!  I used a window die cut from Spellbinders that was a lot of fun to sit His Little Ones: Heart-Holding Girl into!  I also decorated the inside of the card, as I love to have Scripture somewhere in my card in some fashion.  Here's the card from top to bottom:

 Inspired Stamps: His Little Ones: Heart-Holding Girl, Labelmaker Alphabet, and the 'LOVE YOU comes from our 1 inch Circle Sentiments which has over 40 little stamps on it like that!
Paper: Bazzill Basics Cardstock
Inks: Ranger Distress Ink Tea Dye, Momento black
other:  Spellbinders die cuts, MS flowers, Copic Markers, CTMH ribbon, Cuttlebug Embossing folders

Here is what the card looks like when you open it up.

Inspired Stamps:  1Corinthings 13:4-8 ($3.99 Single Scripture Stamp)
Other is same as the front of the card with the addition of CTMH opaque stickers in pink

Inspired Stamps:  Friendship's Flowers (for the sentiment)
Other is same as front of card along with buttons from my button jar :o), and a tag punch

I also stamp a piece for the back of the card with the $3.99 MADE BY...Single Stamp which has several stamps on it.  For this card I chose the sentiment "Hand-made with stamps, ink, love, and prayers just for you by" and then signed my name and added the year I made it.

Scripture treat bags I'm giving away...maybe to you!

Hello friends!

One thing I've resolved to do more of this year is spend more time creating just for fun!  You'd think illustrating and running your own stamp line would mean 40 hours a week of time to enjoy stamping and coloring, but surprisingly, stamping and coloring are actually in the low end of how I spend my time during the work week.  So today I am sharing the fruits of my new dedicated time with you!

I found these cute wood-grain designed treat bags at our local scrapbook store and just knew I wanted to do something with them!  With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I focused 2 of these treat bags on LOVE and the other one I really wanted to use the cardinal stamp with (it's red...so the right color!).  I use Bazzil Basics Cardstock, Momento Ink, CTMH: opaques, twine, and button, and Copic Markers to color.

Here are the individual bags I made...

I just love our 2 Scripture-Holder Girls (this one is Scripture-Holder Girl with pigtails you can find HERE for $3.99) and I also used a favorite Scripture from the Winter Sketches stamp set shown here:

 Next up I used the cardinal from the Winter Sketches set shown above along with a sneak peek of Psalm 9:10, a brand new 2x2 Single Scripture stamp that will be in the online store in early February!!

My last of the trio I have to show is the brand new $3.99 Single Scripture stamp, 1 Cor. 13:13 which has been very popular this first week it's in our online store!  And my personal favorite alphabet set, Labelmaker Alphabet (on SALE this week only!), I used to make the LOVE label on the treat bag:

SOO...I will be putting these (and a few others I am making) as little surprises in some of the orders that are placed today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday).  And yes, they will have a FREE 2x2 or 2x3 stamp set inside the little decorated bag as my way of saying THANK YOU for all your support of Inspired Stamps!
