  1. “I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” Psalm 118:5-6 KJV

  2. "Call upon me and I will answer thee and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3

  3. "The Prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effect." Jamees 5:16 (RSV)

  4. I have two that you don´t have in the shop:
Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

    1. Isaiah 26:3 is the first verse that ever "leapt off the page" at me.

  5. As for me and my house we will serve The Lord . Joshua 24:15

  6. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

  7. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you..." Psalms 55:22

  8. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

  9. Here is one of my favorites and I don't think I saw it in the shop.
O may Your lovingkindness comfort me, According to Your word to Your servant. Psalm 119:76

  10. Prov. 16:9 The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

I love this verse because it shows how we are never on our own!

  11. Jer. 29:11 For I know the plans that I [a]have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

  12. Here is another one I like:
On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul. Psalm 138:3

  13. Be still, and know that I am God
    Psalm 46:10a

  14. Psalm 19:1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

  15. and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” Rev 21:4

  16. And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39

  17. One more: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." Jer. 1:5
