Sneak Peek #5: One stamp, 4 finished projects!

It's the LAST DAY of sneak peeks for the mid-May release, which means that the 16 new stamp sets will be online tomorrow evening!!  I will continue daily artwork to share with you ways to use some of the stamp sets I didn't fit into my 5 day Sneak Peek.  This one is focused on the Bible, God's Word, and is named Your Word.  I have already used it about 15 times, I have to admit, in the past week alone!

Here are 4 different ways to use one of my favorite verses:  Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.  I included the candle on 2 of the cards and 2 I just used the verse:

                                                                            red: 4x4 card
                                                                       sponged artsy card: 4x5.5

                                                           simple book mark or tag

                                                              floral card: 4x5.5

Sometimes when I see a stamp set and see it used once, it helps to see it in a variety of ways to get my own imagination working.  I hope these inspired you!

Sneak Peek #3: BIG COPIC/Stampset/extras Giveaway

Sneak Peek #2: $3.99 new stamp sets!! (Plus 6 giveaways!)

I am so excited that you came to visit the blog today!!  Above you see the 6 new $3.99 stamp sets stamped on 6 empty kraft envelopes (you can click on the photo to see them more clearly!).  

These 6 stamp sets will be in the store with the rest of the Mid-May releases THIS WEDNESDAY May 18th!  And they are the first of the $3.99 stampsets to carry the new packaging---by popular request!!   The $3.99 Stamp sets will still come on their own acetate sheets, but starting with this new group of sets, there will be the laminated sheet you've come to love with the larger inspired stamps.

Sneak Peek of New Birthday Stamps: plus a masking tutorial

Hello and welcome to day #1 of sneak peek week!

Today I am so excited to share one of the new stampsets that are coming to the inspired stamps store WEDNESDAY, MAY 18th!!

This is a stampset all about birthdays....BIRTHDAYS comes with several different phrases and verses plus the cute cupcake you see 3 times in this card:

Now look at the inside for 3 more stamps that are in this set:

This card used prima flower, spellbinders die, Momento ink, and scrap paper from my scrap bin, plus some machine sewing on the front.  Here are the Copic markers I used to color the cupcakes:

How did I get three cupcakes?  Here comes my masking photo tutorial so you can get as many cupcakes as your heart desires!

First, I stamped the cupcake onto my paper.  Then I stamped it onto the Mask-It material (you can also use sticky notes or clear contact paper if you prefer):

Next I cut out the outline of the cupcake and took off the backing (I held it in front of the ink pad so you can see it easily):

Put that mask over your cupcake:

Next, I stamped the cupcakes that I wanted to sit next to and slightly behind my original cupcake:

Notice how the cupcakes stamp on top of the mask I put down.  Remove the mask now for the big reveal:

Ta-da!  Just remember when masking that you will be stamping and masking what is in FRONT.  So the other cupcakes (or other image) will appear behind the masked image.  I colored these in with my copics that I showed above and here is the finished card again:

Happy Mother's Day: New Baby Sneak Peek!

Happy Mother's Day!!  I had the pleasure of attending a baby shower for a dear friend's daughter yesterday and was able to use one of the verses from my new stamp set called New Baby, which is one week away from being LIVE in the store!!  I also got my Cricut out and cut one of the babies (gotta love them!) to include next to this.  Her outfit was double stamped with the flower from the Made By...set, already in the inspired stamp store (www.inspiredstamps.com):

National Day of Prayer...brand new His Little Ones..

Today, May 5, 2011, is the National Day of Prayer.  In honor of a day devoted to our prayers for our country, I am excited to get to share a new group of characters that will be coming soon to the inspired stamps online store!!  "His Little Ones" are smaller than the original characters (Mark, Sarah, Esther...) and so very sweet, I know you will love them as much as I do--no worries, the originals will continue to be made as well.  The Blackboard album cover I made here uses one of the first drafts of  His Little Ones characters.  She has been adjusted in the actual stamp form with some minor fixes I wanted to make from this original drawing:

The Pray without Ceasing is part of a set of verses and sayings focused on prayer, and has a name easy to remember 'Prayer' which is found HERE
