Scripture Art Journaling: my new favorite pages + a canvas!

Hello friends!
Before we have our holiday weekend, I wanted to share with you another house scene I made with Scripture I wrote, plus a couple of Inspired Stamps (HLO: Journal Girl and a verse is just above her from the GUARD YOUR HEART stampsets).  I incorporated collage, pan pastels and acrylics into this:

Here's a close up of HLO Journal Girl (colored with Copic Markers and some colored pencil).  Above her you can see the GUARD YOUR HEART stamp set verse I used.  The houses are collage and a mixture of acrylic and pan pastels.

I made a canvas with a similar feel to it so I can keep it on the wall (Used Inspired Stamps: HLO: Thankful Girl in and PRAYER sets stead on this one)as well as some jewels to act as clouds/stars in the sky :

Be sure to leave a comment if you can...I love to see who popped by over the holiday weekend!
Blessings,
Antoinette

Week #4 of our 12 Weeks of Inspired Christmas Creations: FRAME IT!!

Hello Festive Friends!!
Today is Week #4 of our Christmas Creations here at Inspired Stamps and I am super excited to bring you this idea that is NOT NEW, but one I need to be reminded of time and time again.  You make a card or a tag or an Artist Trading Card and YOU JUST LOVE IT!!  You know the minute your non-crafting recipient receives it they will think it's adorable and not too long from then...well, let's just say our trash men aren't just collecting trash (they are collecting the hours we put into that piece of ARTWORK!).  So what to do? What to do?

FRAME IT!  Yes, now who is going to take that piece of FRAMED ART and trash it (ok, we all know those that would do that, but MOST of us wouldn't dream of it!!)  So no matter how small your creation, get a frame and frame it.... (these frames literally hold items no bigger than 3" x 4" and some are 2x3!!  Got them on sale at Hobby Lobby and Michaels has a bunch of the little ones on CLEARANCE this week!!).

Here's your inspiration for this week!  I'd love to see what you frame so be sure to post a photo of some artwork on our Facebook page if you do this:

I love to have Scripture around my home and studio...Framing on of our 2x2 Single Scriptures is perfect for a square frame like the one above!

Here's one I made for my daughter and it says May the Lord bless your day on the Let it Snow Snoman! You can see it better in the photo at the top of the blog.  I used Flower Soft for snow and even put a little in the bottom of the frame!  You could do the same with leaves, flowers, or birthday confetti!!

This frame is SO much more beautiful in person!  It came ivory and I inked it up with some distress inks.  Putting this frame by my computer reminds me to stop and give thanks!!

And this little HLO: Thankful Girl in her beautiful 2.5 x 3.5 inch frame is just PRECIOUS in her pink outfit!  She has a verse from the Love is... set that reminds me God not only loves, He IS love :o)

Giveaway this week:  Just leave a comment to this post and you are entered to win this set, so you can make your own!!

Be sure to come back Monday to see if you won.  All unclaimed prizes are going into the BIG GIVEAWAY at the end of the 12 Weeks of Inspired Christmas Creations and we are already over $100 in products I've added :o)

Until then,
Be the Blessing!

Belinda created this beautiful flower filled card:

Chere made a fabulous fall set of cards using the Whimsical Tree set:

Kim's color choices really say fall is here!

Kary's coloring is so beautiful in her card...I love the winding vines around the Scripture:
