Fabulous Find: $2 Shabby Chic Frames--Love is...

Hello friends!   Today is my 22nd Wedding Anniversary and I couldn't believe my luck at finding these AMAZING frames at Hobby Lobby for just over $2 a piece!!  Here's what they looked like when I bought them:

HOW CUTE IS THAT?!? (There is a glass frame, you just cant see it here) I bought one to see if I could get the back off and sure enough...I could!!  So I went back and bought a ton of them!  Here's what my finished one looks like on the wall:

I inked up the edges of this white frame with Tim Holz distressing inks so it would better fit with my shabby photo collage...I also used a sharpie marker to lightly add some swirls to the outside, and our wedding date at the bottom.  I wanted the info there but didn't want it to distract from the photo.   The stamp set is one of the ones from the online inspired stamps store, LOVE IS...

Here's a close-up of the frame actually on a wall---hence the shadows!  But you can see it's a shadow box frame and my flowers sit in there with plenty of room:

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I know some of you are bargain hunters like me and will be immediately off to your local Hobby Lobby store to grab a few of these great frames, so happy shopping!

Be the blessing,
Antoinette

  5. I just barely saw the same frame at Hobby Lobby. I wish I had seen your post beforehand, I would have bought one! I love what you did with it. :)
